Follow Friday: What's Your Five Quirky Habits?

Wow, I haven't been writing on my blog for quite some times (cos it's HOLIDAY, you party people!! Woot!)
It's great to be back home and just hang out with my family and cousins, laughing and experimenting with new recipes (I managed to make a dessert that taste like the 'smell' of shower cream). But I'm missing my best friends back at college so it's time to go back I suppose.. Anyway... this week Follow Friday is very interesting so I'm going to join in the fun! ^^

Follow Friday is created by Rachel at Parajunkee's View. Basically, this meme is about sharing your thoughts about books and life in general. It is also a great way to make new blogger friends!

This week's feature is Ninja Girl from Ninja Girl Reads.

This week's question is: It's circle time. Time for us to open up and share. Can you tell us FIVE quirky habits or things about you. We all have them...

  1. I smell EVERYTHING. Not just books but pretty much every object I use. For example, when I want to use a pen, I have this strong urge to sniff the pen first before I use it. Weird, I know, people look at me all kinds of wrong when I do that but the urge is hard to squelch.
  2. I like to munch my pencils when I was in primary school until it was as short as my pinky. I also like to chew papers. Luckily, I was one of the 'popular' kids so no one said anything. Weird thing was, they actually thought my pencils looked really cool. Haha
  3. Sometimes I wake up a few times at night just to smooth my bed covers and fluff my pillows before going back to sleep.
  4. I'm a quiet person but I tend to gravitate toward the loud groups. There's something calming about sitting amidst the chaos, about being surrounded by people who seem to possess all the confidence in the world, while their laughter, love and crazy ideas envelope you in a thrilling hug. Your lungs feel bigger somehow.
  5. I can't eat papayas (this is a local fruit in my country) without feeling nauseous. My dad thinks I'm crazy.
So those are some of my quirky habits. Do tell me about your quirky side, I would love to read them!

I don't like papayas much either but I live in the UK so we hardly ever have them.

The last movie I bought was 3 Idiots! It *was* a pretty amazing movie. I think I'm going to watch it again tonight, thanks for reminding me how good it was! And I'm exactly the same way, I'm pretty quiet but I definitely hang out with the louder groups. Have a great Friday! And thanks for stopping by!

Hey Soon Hana!
Thanks for your comment. I love the Japanese version as well. Hana Yori Dango, right? I like the lead guy in that one. He's a cutie! I'm aslo a pretty quiet person, but I tend to gravitate away from the crowds. Loud people make me kinda nervous I guess ;)
Following you now,
Ninja Girl

I am total opposite when it comes to the loud groups. Well, actually not necessarily loud groups, but large crowds (who end up being loud lol). I feel all claustrophobic and itchy, and just the pressing need to ESCAPE! lol

Thanks for stopping by my blog and following, I'm following you as well. :)

I can eat papayas in frozen fruit salads, but never fresh. I also feel like I might gag when I do it. And I am also a total sniff addict! It's just so fun to get to know these different smells.

Thanks for dropping by my blog! I was so amazed that you actually spent a thousand dollars for books, well, I think I'm already close to that now. But it's too difficult to stop, right? Especially with so many great books out there!

Actually, I just learned how to raise my brows one at a time, it's not something that came naturally to me, I used to be able to just raise my left brow so I tried raising both brows but will push my left brow down to help the right brow lift on its own, and that's how I learned to raise them alternately :D

Thanks for the follow, I followed you back :D

Have a great weekend!

Thanks for stopping by my blog - I'm glad you like my shelves. :D

You've got some very interesting quirks, I admit to sniffing books - if a book smells good it tends to be a good story.
I like being surrounded by loud people too, just listening and being surrounded by the noise can be nice.
I've never tried papaya but don't like the look of it much.

Have a great weekend. :D

Following you back! :) I'm a book sniffer, too, as I said in my quirks. I've never tried a papaya, though! Hope you have an awesome holiday!
